The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and Mickey Rat are great underground comics

Dark horse have produced several hardback books featuring 5 editions roughly in each book of the old Warren publications
Eerie and Creepy.

These are worth buying I have the first 4 Creepy volumes and the first 2 Eerie volumes

Warren was created to fill the void when EC departed.Using alot of the same writers the stories are fantastic all in rich black and white ink.

With such great writers as Frank Frazzetta Alex Toth Johnny Craig Wally Wood and Al Williamson doing the stories these are a bargian and well worth the read

Everyone must read Sandman by Neil Gaiman. Comics, graphic novels, yes, but also just an example of absolutely great storytelling. Literary and intelligent, exciting and engaging...a true masterpiece, in my opinion.

I remember loving Sandman back in the day. Been awhile though. Might be time for a re-read.

I do love periodically going back and rereading the entire series from beginning to end. It is so rich and builds on itself, so stuff in the early issues become relevant in much later issues.
