The Way AFTERMATH was shot was awesome! The opening music, the lighting, and of course the corpse rape were all great touches. GENESIS was also very good from an artistic perspective.

I'm gonna go watch Salon Kitty and The Image now...

Ah, good old Tinto Brass. I quite liked Salon Kitty and the Image ain't half bad either. Only film I've ever seen with full on watersports action in it (and not the skiing kind).

If it is water sports you're after, DO check out "Singapore Sling." That movie is so rad it makes denim look like chocolate afterthought.

Oh shit, I'd forgotten about Singapore Sling. I correct myself, I've seen it in two films now... Thanks for the reminder, I might have to rewatch this puppy now.

I actually forgot about Tinto Brass' OTHER flick - "Caligula" - there was some Golden Streams of Lapland in that one too! Dude, We could start a whole new topic!

Ha, Caligula. Now there's a blast from the past. I think I watched that movie 30 times back in my teens.

I think a topic could be in order as I just thought of another: SWEET MOVIE. Which, in fact along with the golden ventures into brown territory as well in a charming scene about life in a commune.

And I might have to rewatch the mighty Joe D'amato's knock off CALIGULA 2 as I think that might be another to add to the list.

And I'm pretty sure one Pedro Almodover's earlier films featured the same. I think it was Pepi, Luci, Bom.

I see now my original comment on this matter was very, very wrong.

ahh yes...Sweet Movie...more pee can be found there, much more! And now I mustn't forget "Cannibal" and here we actually see pee coming out of a penis stump!

Image

and now as I think of it, "Guts of a Virgin" shows pee also! The cover below is the version I have!

Speaking of 'Sweet Movie', I got the Dusan Makavejev Eclipse set in the mail earlier this week. Looking forward to making my way through it.

500 Days of Summer, one of the best romantic comedies I've seen in ages. And a cheapie horror flick called Killer Movie, that was cheap and bad but in a fun way.

Dead GIrl

I didn't mind it. Really liked the idea behind the film but I think the execution was a little flawed. A bit slow and ponderous and didn't really justify certain characters behaviour, particularly at the start. Did build to a pretty good climax though.
